My DS is 3, and very tall. I'm thinking of switching him to a radian when the babies get here.
i have one snugride from him, I was going to get another, but I went to BRU today, and the chicco keyfits look so much more streamlined. I'm just wondering what fits the best 3 across.
We have a 2007 Hona pilot.
Re: If you have 3 carseats across, which ones?
I've been looking at new cars today and even with the third rows, I think it would be great to get three across one seat so that, I can have the back to put strollers and such.
I'm taking my two Snugride bases and my Recaro to the dealership next week and have them put all three in the back to see. I'll let you know if they all fit!
Thanks! Snugrides are supposed to be the smallest, but when I saw the keyfits, I didn't believe it. snugrides have that wider part that bows out, an the keyfits don't.
I think I really just want an excuse to buy two seats that match. LOL!
I think I will make DH go to BRU and try them out too.
it's not so much the type of seats but also how you attach them. If you use the latch system - it forces your seats that are next to the windows to move in towards the middle a bit more than if you use the seat belts... so often you can fit the 3 seats with the seatbelts and not the latch.
We have 2 cosco scenera (SP?) conv seats facing rear and one Safety 1st (i think that's what it is) facing forward in the back of DH's Ford Escape- which isn't very big at all... they all fit - snug- but they fit.... he used the seatbelts instead of latch.
That makes sense! Do you have the FF in the middle or outboard?
