Do u think black nail polish is ok?

I painted my nails black for a themed party last night. What is your opinion, is it ok to keep them black for work tomorrow? I work in a small office, dress code is really up to me but its semi-professional. My boss will not care but I am just wondering is it looks unprofessional to clients?

I think its totally fine. Totally normal where I work, but thats in NY if that makes a difference. Black is almost main stream right?!

I don't think they'll really notice too much.. I hardly ever noticed when people had black nailpolish on, and I was in a "business casual" dresscode office for a year and a half. And if they do comment on it, just explain about the themed party... most people really don't care, as long as you're not all decked out in black, or anything like that.

keep it, I think most places want your nails to just look kept up, so as long as they aren't chipped I would keep it

Yes, its unprofessional, but it really depends on your role in the office. I'd wear it if I didnt have any client meetings that day.

Black nailpolish is very "in" these days. Preppy girls will wear it and ive seen it look good on multiple adults as well. Its not a "gothic" thing anymore really. As long as it looks fine, not chipped or anything I think youll be okay.

Personally I say keep it. I wish i could, I work at a hospital that requires 'normal' polish and I would get written up for breaking policy rules.

imo black only works for toes but i work in a law firm ... i ALWAYS have either buffed nails or light neutral colors.
