Which one did you get for your twins/ multiples? I'm assuming they both sleep in there together right? So you only had one. Or do I need two? How long did you use it? Do you think it's a must-have?
Sorry if it's been asked a million times.... the search on here stinks.
TIA!
Re: Tell me about your cosleeper.
I highly recommend having cosleepers- my boys all loved sleeping in them- and we loved them b/c we didn't have to get out of bed for every little thing. Even with a regular bassinet you have to get out of bed- not with a cosleeper!
We had 2 of the Arms reach minis. We did not want them in the same bassinet - it's a SIDS risk, and we also use the anglecare monitors that sense movement/breathing- so if they sleep together that defeats the purpose of using it.
our bedroom is tiny and the minis fit in there fine - like wings on our bed
We'll actually be selling ours soon... where in NJ are you?
We moved the boys to their cribs at 5mo, but now and then we end up bringing them into the room again b/c they've been sick off and on all winter... but they will be too big soon (or pulling up) so selling them in the next month or so.
You're always so helpful and knowledgeable on this stuff! I think I'll register for them only because my Mom and MIL yelled at me for buying stuff instead of waiting for my shower! Haha! Anyway, if I don't get them off my registry I'd definately be interested if yours are still available. (I'm in N Jersey too.) Thank you!
Which one?

Can you tell I'm a newbie?! TIA... again!
we have both - we actually have 3 b/c we still use it for Griffin - so we'll know he doesn't get out of his bed - and also for the breathing thing- we're freaks
i like the new one that shows the temp - but you don't need 2 of those... get the cheaper one for the other baby - since you only need one thing to tell you the temp I'm not sure if there would be interference from 2 of the blue/temp one- but when you use one of each it's fine.
A friend gave us their used co-sleeper & I was super excited. It lasted less than 1 night after all the grunting & groaning kept us awake. We moved the babies into their cribs and it was a lot better.
I think if we were successfully BFing, I would have kept the co-sleeper around longer. Since we're EP and light sleepers, it was worthless to us.
I never nursed (not once home from the hospital at least) and still found the cosleepers to be great - to me it had nothing to do with nursing - it was all about not having to get up EVERY time baby fussed b/c a paci fell out, etc.
We had a regular bassinet for Griffin and HATED it - we were up and down out of bed 100x's a night for all sorts of things... we sold it and got a side sleeper bassinet and he then started STTN that week, and was so easy to help if he needed a pat on the belly, a paci, etc. With the twins it really was a blessing --- since there are 2 babies to get up for when they need a paci, etc.
some babies do great in the cribs right away- some don't... i can't imagine having to get up and go into their room all night early on when they are bad sleepers.
We had no problem sleeping next to the babies - even with their noises - we put a white noise machine on - which helped us all sleep better
