So at first we tried after her nap sitting on my lap:

She really wasn't into it:

Then we gave her lunch and let her drink what she wanted:

By the end she drank about 4 oz:

I am really surprised at how well she did. We are going to try to drop 1 bottle a week for 4 weeks until she is totally on milk. She already uses a sippy like a champ. I cannot wait not to wash bottles!!!

Yay Jocelyn!!

Did you give her cold milk? Or did you warm it?

I am sooo stressing about this. We are starting milk next weekend.

We tried cold, then warming it, then cold. She didn't like it at first, but I just offered the rest of it to her cold with her dinner and she guzzled it down. All told she drank about 6oz of milk today.We'll probably just stick with cold!

that is awesome! I'm a little behind. I want to transition out of bottles soon but I don't think we'll introduce milk until the year b/c Nic needs the extra calories from BM/formula. I'm with you, I can't wait to stop washing bottles.
