I love the name Siena and I also LOVE Siena, Italy. I would definitely spell it with 1 N. So what if people misspell it? If it had 2 Ns you would be naming her after a color instead...

I actually think it looks better with 1 N. We are seriously considering this name, for the same reason. Loved Siena when we visited Italy.
It's interesting how Sienna is considered a form of Siena but yet is so very much higher on the social security list.
