Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Second time pregnancy: Will the "Nyquil" type of fatigue go away?

I had it really bad with Adam and it's coming back.  I remember it lifted around 2nd tri.  I know I will be more tired overall this time because I've got a child, especially one that doesn't sleep well, but this "brain on low-battery mode" is killing me.  I feel like I can't even follow simple conversations some days or have a range of emotions more than sort of fine/totally pissed off.

  • Thank god it goes away. I felt like I was running on empty for months. It's finally starting to go away.

  • Everything went away for me.  I had an awesome second tri.  I hope that you do too.

Oh thank you, thank you, thank you.  I needed to hear that.

  • I still feel completely dragged down and tired all the time. I nap every single day but can't shake it off. Lilly also doesn't sleep too well so I know that contributes to it.

Phew.  I thought it was going to be one of those "Nope, I felt like dog doo the entire pregnancy" kind of thing.

  • I felt like that for about 3 weeks.  I remember by about 10w or so I felt MUCH better.  I was shocked that it was before 2nd tri began.

Yeah, Adam has been sick for over a month and teething, so that doesn't help.  I hope it lifts for you!
