I confirmed with my mom yesterday that we had decided on a name and she tried every way she could think of to get it out of me (begging, bargaining, bartering and even black mail). I just explained that we weren't going to be telling anyone and now I am thinking it's going to be hard to do!
Re: Anyone keeping name a secret?
Same thing happened to us with DD so we ar enot sharing the names, we just tell people we have ideas but nothing set in stone. they usually dop it.
Thanks! We can't wait to use it! I love how smooth the stroller rides.

What if they buy you something with the old name on it?
We told everyone - and only one person had something semi-bad to say about it (and that was DH's gma, and she said that we should've asked her first b/c she already picked out "the perfect name").
We're keeping it semi-private. I can't help but tell my mom and very close friends. Other than that, I just say we haven't decided yet. And truth be told, my husband still says he isn't sure about the name. But I think it would take a miracle for it to change in the next 5 weeks.
I do get tired of people's negative opinions, and I just like the additional surprise element of everyone not knowing. Since we found out this time what we're having (we didn't last time), keeping the name a bit of a surprise makes it more fun.
