Hormones=Cry Baby
I had my baby shower yesterday and it was wonderful. It was seriously one of the most lovely, meaningful showers I've ever attended. No stupid games.... just friends, food and wonderful, honest conversations about what it means and what it takes to be a mother.
So I just finished my thank you notes and I'm a snotty mess. I'm literally bawling as I write each note. Thank goodness DH isn't up yet, he already thinks I'm an erratic, hormonal mess.

Aw, I'm glad you had such a nice time. Even though you think you're a hormonal mess, I think it just means that your friends gave you a very special day to remember.
I have news for you, too -- once the baby is born, the hormones eventually do subside somewhat......but I get emotional and teary-eyed a lot more easily now that I'm a mom.
