We still have DD in sleepsacks and we want to start using a blanket to cover her in her crib once she outgrows her last sleepsacks in the next few weeks or so.
Are you just using the thin carters type blankets or are there special blankets made for sleeping?
TIA!

I know, it's hard to know when the right time for all this stuff is!
If it helps at all, DS has slept with those little "lovey" type blankies since he was around 6 months, and recently (maybe a month ago) we started giving him two normal sized blankets. We've had no problems at all
He still doesn't actually cover up with them (and we're in Texas so it doesn't really matter), but he LOVES having them in there. When he wakes up in the morning he'll actually stay in there and play with them for awhile. This morning I came to get him up a little earlier than normal and he didn't want to get out of his crib, lol!
