Medela pump ?

I think I'm going to go with a Medela pump, after how many recommendations it has received. But I have a few questions, if you use one. Do you pump right into the medela bottle, or another brand? Do you then switch it to the freezer bags (if your keeping a stash...?), or freeze in some sort of bottle?

I have a box of Dr Browns bottles that I was planning on using, they are wide neck, and from what I can tell, those are not compatable with the Medela pump, but the standard neck is, does anybody have experience with either kind and being compatable?

Any other tips or suggestion?

    I pump into the 5 oz. Medela bottles that came with the pump (I bought some extras, too... have a total of 7).  Then I transfer the EBM into LO's bottles.  If I have extra, I freeze it in Lansinoh bags.

    I pump right into medela bottles (or medela freezer bottles or bags when I have surplus some day!).    A friend told me her advent bottles fit right onto the pump, but I have never tried it.

    same here....I pump into the bottles (5oz) or containers (2oz) that come w/the pump and then transfer to the lansinoh bags for freezing.

    I have a few Medela bottles but I don't like them, the nipples invert almost every time we use them, just a pain. Evenflo bottles fit and they are actually my favorite, and cheap! I exclusively pump so I go the easiest route and just pump straight into the bottle I'm going to use, if the bottle doesn't fit, I don't use it, saves time and less dishes to wash! For freezing, I just pump straight into the bag, I use the Medela bags for that

    this exactly, except my baby has never taken a bottle...she drinks from me and from sippy cups, I know weird right?  She has drank from sippy cups since she was 3 months old...btw, I LOVE my Medela pump!

    I have a Medela pump and pump and pump right into the Dr. Brown's standard 4oz bottles.

    I pump into Avent bottles using a connector made by Avent.  If I have extra milk I even out what I need between the bottles for the day and freeze the rest in Lansinoh bags.
