Voices coming from Baby Crack Machine

Late last night I swore I was hearing voices. I got closer to the baby crack machine (which was on the rainforest setting) and turned the volume down & the voices got louder. I even changed the setting  to ocean & rain... VOICES! I was freaking out.

Was this PPD psychosis? Was I dreaming? I woke my DH up in the middle of the night (he was less than thrilled) but he heard them too. Apparently the BCM was picking up a radio signal.

Has this happened to anyone else?

    Wow, that would freak me out! That happens with our monitor if I don't turn off the unit in our room- we pick up TV or radio signals on it- scared the heck out of me the first time because I was at home alone with the baby and started hearing voices upstairs....creepy.

    creeeeeeeeeeeeeepy!!!

    I know everyone here raves about the baby crack machine, but I don't know. We've had 4 and while I love the sounds (very soothing and relaxing and not as harsh as other sound machines I've had) we keep having issues w/ turning it on and the sound. The first one never turned on. We exchanged it and the 2nd one stopped working after 3 weeks (sound was skipping and volume going crazy). Exchanged that one and finally got a good one + another for DD2's room. DD2's is fine but DD1's is very hard to turn on so we rarely turn it off or we might get stuck w/ no sound machine for her. Enough rambling, just needed to vent because it's a very love/hate relationship for us ;)

    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    I shared my experience not to terrify you, but as  PSA -if you hear voices coming from the BCM do not be alarmed.

    This totally had me freaked-the-F-out because white noise/ghost stuff scares the crap out of me, regardless of my brain telling me I'm being silly.  But what you said above (bolded) made me laugh out loud and calmed me down... now I no longer have the urge to run and turn off DD's machine.  I don't know why it made me laugh - maybe just because I imagined creepy voices, but then saw that and imagined something totally different after reading that.  ha.
