CDers - night time diapering?

LO is sleeping longer stretches and we need a new solution. Right now we use a BG or fuzzi bunz with a micro fleece insert and doubler. It looks like lots of people use a fitted and wool soaker at night w/ a hemp insert or doubler. I'm thinking about investing in something like that but it looks like prep work for the wool might be a pain.

Just wondering what other CDers are doing at night

We just started using Goodmama fitteds for night. They are pricey if you buy them new, but you can find them in EUC or NIP on spots corner or diaperswappers. They are very absorbent. We have a wool cover but it's a little too big right now. We are using a regular cover over them. Wool is not that hard to care for - lanolize occasionally (you can use the lansinoh nipple cream), and wash with woolwash.

I just use a doubler for overnight. I've never had a leak.

We use BG pockets for nights also and works well for us if we use a hemp doubler because it holds so much more than the microfiber doublers and isn't bulky... have you tried that? be sure to put it behind the microfiber insert though cause it doesnt absorb as quick so you want it the furthest from their bum.

We do BG 3.0 with both inserts it came with at night. He goes about 10-12 hours in and by morning it's HEAVY and soaked, but he's never leaked!

This is us too. We only have three BG's and use the exclusively for nighttime because they work so well.

We tried last night for the first time. I was shocked that he slept better and longer than he usually does with his nighttime disposables.

here is how we layered it

Happy Heiney's hemp oval thing inside a HH hemp insert

On top of that was an insert that I don't know the name of. It has fleece on one side and what I think looks like Berber carpet on the other. It might be a different type of fleece?

We slide the whole bundle into a Wonderoos pocket.

It was a little bulky but most of the bulk was in the front. We are going to try again to see if it was a fluke, but I doubt that it was.

I have not tried hemp. Maybe I'll do that before going to wool

We do a BG 3.0 with both a full size and a newborn insert. Keeps him dry from 8:30-7 am. At some point I'll probably get some hemp inserts to use in place of or in addition to this.

We use disposables at night, partly because they absorb more and also to give her a little break so she isn't as likely to get diaper rash.

My LO must be a heavier wetter. This is exactly what we've tried and if we don't change him in the middle of the night we've got a leak by morning
