Things are set in motion!
I've been contracting for the last several days now, and my effacement is good, but I'm just not dilating (still 1 cm). His head is fully engaged, at about +2/+3. We're doing as much as possible this weekend to get things going, haha! The doc is having me come in Sun night to try Cervidil to see if that will jump start my dilation. If it does I could end up having him by Tues, which would be exciting! If it doesn't do much, I'll be going back home to play the waiting game. Keep your fingers crossed that I might avoid pit. induction! We're doing the usual things (sex, lots of walking, nipple stimulation, etc.)...anything else we should try, haha? Thanks for all the help!

We tried everything. Pineapple, spicy foods, eggplant parmasean, lots of walking, and sex. She still came on her due date despite trying these things for the two weeks prior.
At least you're contracting!! That's a positive start! I started doing the two days before she was born. You are on your way! Hopefully the cervadil is just what you need to push you into active labor
