Adriana vs. Averielle

I barely ever post here but was curious to hear some feedback on Adriana vs. Averielle.

    Definitely Adriana.  I can't even figure out how to pronounce Averielle and it looks made up.

    I don't care for Adriana ( I think of the Sopranos character as a person type for this name)

    Averielle is pretty, but a little weird. Is there a history behind this name?

    I have seen it spelled Averil.  It is a really old name. Avril as in Avril Lavigne is a form of it.  I like it.  For any Anne of Green Gable's nerds, it is the title character of Anne's story Avril's Atonement that gets turned into a baking powder ad.

    Avril is French for April.

    Is Averielle supposed to be Avril?? I was reading it as Ay-vree-elle.

    I prefer Adriana because like the others said, I'm not sure how to pronounce Avrielle, and it seems made up, like some concoction of other names mushed together.
