I spoke to the CIA guy who bought JJs today.  He is wanting to get it up and running by February 8th. They have already packed everything up and moved it.   Everyone who is on JJs mailing list should be getting an email with more information sometime soon.  I was attempting to get the JJ "alumi's" a first visit free, but the only answer I got back to that was "I am a business man, I dont do anything for free"  So I guess I tried. Also, he bought the rights to JJs website so he said to let everyone know to check back on the website for updates too. Thats about all I have.

    Where is the new location?

    ETA:  I just found your other threads with the additional info.  Thanks for posting, and this is FANTASTIC news, since now it will be even CLOSER for us!  Smile

    The new location is going to be CIA in Eastgate on Old 74 and St Rt 32. 

    Oh and thanks for the kick back suggestion.  I would have been ok with one free visit though, LOL!  I just loved JJs and Tracy has become a good friend of mine.  I know she is sad to sell JJs.  All she really wants is a place for kids to go and have a good time. I know JJs provided that for many children over the last year.

    How far is this CIA place from Jumpin Joey's?  JJ was already a 30 minute drive for me, I hope it's not too much further!  Noah and I would hate to miss out on future playdates!

    Not sure where you are coming from but its probably 10 mins from JJs.  Its off the exit where Eastgate Mall is.

    Hmm, ok.  I'm coming from way far away in Fairfield Twp :)  I guess I can drive 10 more minutes!  It really stinks that's there isn't really anything like this over on this side of town.  If there was we would be there everyday!

    I have heard of a place off St Rt 129 called Banana's have you been there?  What is it like?

    Also, try the Recreation Outlet that just opened up in Milford. This would be good for kids around 2 or older.

    It's the next exit past where you get off for JJs.  It's like a mile off the exit.  Not too much further than JJs!

     Ummm... does he have a better way to convert customers to his new location?  Businesses will give lots of things away for "free" to try to get a return... especially ones that sell things that people don't have to have. 

    And I realize there is no such thing as a free lunch... even if it says "free" isn't that business 101?

    Call me clueless, but I have no idea what CIA is.  I actually live right here in the area and I still can't figure out what that stands for besides Central Intelligence Agency!  Help a girl out, what is the place and where exactly is it?  Can you name other landmarks nearby?  74 goes across 32 in two places that I know of and I can't figure out which one we're talking about.

    I thought so too!!!!!  I guess thats the difference between a franchise and a personal owned business. 

    I am not sure exactly where CIA is or what is stands for, but I believe its where Old 74 and 32 cross closer towards Batavia.

    Right, I looked at their website too and I couldnt find it either! .  Here is there address for those who are wondering 568 Old St Rt 74.  It seems they have dance/cheer stuff and tumbling also.

    I drive by it all the time, it's right by my house. I'm pretty sure it stands for "Cheer International Academy" or something very similar. Kel, you're right - that's exactly where it is. It's by the Gold Star & Child Focus on the part of Old 74 that's just South of 32 (but before it crosses Mt. Carmel-Tobasco Rd.)
