NTR: Dining room Decorating help!

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

So I (really its we- DH and I) am trying to figure out what to do with this room! We were going to do wainscoting but now I think were just going to do crown molding. What do you think? We just painted it the blue color and it looks awesome! So I am thinking tanish curtains. Also, what do you think of this dining room set?

    I like the idea of crown molding. I am not a big fan of wainscoting.  I love the blue!

    I am different thought, I would go with silver sheer curtains. Just my opinion though! :)

    Haha.. Silver wouldn't go with our decor though... but I bet they would look awesome!

    I really like the color, and I like the dining room set. I'd do a ceiling medallion around the light fixture, unless you're switching it out. And I probably wouldn't do the molding because I think it would make the ceiling look too low.

    The dining room set would look great in that room. I do think crown molding would really help everything stand out more, so yes to that.
    I also suggest a plant in the corner (a taller plant real or fake) with a pot that is shiny and black or dark blue in color.
    I also suggest a nice bronze finished light fixture with romantic lights.
    I would also have a rather large painting on the back wall that has golds, various shades of blue, deep reds, and yellows.
    For windows I would have a draped sheer curtain in brown or dark blue.
