Just got back from my egg transfer and thought I would post a question over here. We ended up transfering 3 today because only one was an early blast, stage 3 and the other two he said were compacting cells and were a bit behind. Now that I am doing research, it looks like these "compacting cell" ones are known as morulas. Anyone know anything about transfering morulas on day 5?

I don't know much beyond the fact that usually they go from just 8-cells on day 3 to morulas on day 4, to blasts on day 5 (and, if you're lucky, they are hatching blasts). Transferring 3 is probably also what my RE would recommend with that since they want to see them hatching by day 5. That said, tons of people have great luck with all sorts of stages and qualities, so I'm not sure that it means as much as my RE likes to say it does. For instance, I have overachiever embies who went nuts and were 9-14 cells on day 3, which they didn't like, yet 3/4 originally stuck!
Good luck!
I transferred 1 early blast and 1 morula at my 5dt... got my littlest guy out of the deal
