Have you started practicing with a sippy cup or straw?

We try every now and then. She doesn't get the sippy but will sip from the straw. She never looks too thrilled when she realizes that its water coming out and not formula or breastmilk. lol

We did last night and he was kind of excited (just a little through my straw). We don't really plan on introducing water or the sippy cup until he is regularly eating solids, which will be after 6 months. Whenever a solids dinner replaces his evening nursing, we will give him water with that.

umm, letting her have a few sips of water out of a straw isn't "giving" my infant water. I don't fill a bottle of water and give it to her instead of formula.

When I'm taking a drink my DS grabs at my glass, so I think we're going to start introducing the sippy to him soon too.

My kiddo was staring me down as I was drinking water a few days ago so I let him drink a sip from the cup- he was so excited about it

I haven't introduced a sippy cup or anything yet and don't plan to for a while since he can't even hold his bottle by himself yet- but it was entertaining for both of us at the time

DS loves his sippy cup we bought him the nubby one with the handles and he loves to hold it and is starting to get the hang of it.. he just can't seem to get the hang of a straw but loves to try and drink out of a regular cup... lol I love to watch him learn
