F/U to my pita pizza debacle from the other night

Last night for dinner I decided to try some pizza again.  I used the same cheese, pepperoni and sauce from the other night but instead of using the pita I used 2 pieces of the wheat bread I had.

My reading was 96 which was down A LOT from the other night.

So, I've figured out the pita was just too much.  If I do it again I'll to cut the pita in half, then half again, so I can put two halves together to make a whole, but the crust won't be as thick.  I hope that makes sense! :)

  • that's great!  I'm glad you can still have some type of pizza.  Glad you were able to find a way to make it work.

  • Have you tried those flat bread thingies (the name is escaping me at the moment)... they come in multiple flavors, tomato basil, spinach, whole wheat and are fairly low on carbs/sugars and only about 90 calories for a big "pizza"...

No, I haven't and I'm not familiar with what you are talking about.  I'll take a look when I go to the grocery store tomorrow though.
