Thanks for the Mo Willems suggestions yesterday!  I replied in the Knuffle Bunny thread that I added the books to my wish list on Amazon.  Well, it piqued my curiousity, so Cole and I went to the library yesterday afternoon.  We ended up checking out Knuffle Bunny, Knuffle Bunny Too, The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog, and Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

We read them all when we got home.  Then he 'read' them himself and studied the pictures.  Then we read them again at bedtime.

Cole was laughing OUT LOUD to these books!  He laughed when I'd say the "Aggle Flaggle" parts and when Trixie went boneless. 

He was also responding to the Pigeon/Bus book.  When the driver tells us not to let the pigeon drive the bus, Cole said, "okay," and when the pigeon asks if he can drive, he'd say, "Nooooo."  He LOL at the pigeon books too.

So thanks ladies!!  Your recs provided us with hours of entertainment yesterday.  Big SmileYes

    That is so awesome! Mo Willems totally knows his audience! (He used to write on Sesame St.)

    And I'm totally jealous that your library had all of those books. If I can find one Mo Willems book at ours, it's a good day, so that's why we had to buy them.

    (Pigeon wants a puppy is awesome, too.)

    I'm glad you like them!  They are definitely a hit in our house and they are books I don't mind reading over and over.
