Ours is full... blankets (it gets very cold at night) and lovey and about 10 books.... she reads before she goes to bed and reads when she wakes up until someone comes and gets her.
she doesn't seem to care when she wakes up- hangs out in there and talks. We always get her when she first wakes up- i see her so little during week working that she comes in our bed first thing!
I tried a blanket- she hated it. kicked it off and started crying in middle of night!

same here. And a pillow, her LeapFrog dog Violet and another stuffed toy.
We didn't until he started wanting to take a plastic ball in there with him. Then he wanted to bring Elmo, then other stuff. If she doesn't care, then no big deal! Plus, DS sometimes throws that stuff and we have to move the crib out to find it which is a huge PITA.
I think my kid secretly works for the American Association of Pediatrics...HE wants nothing in there. I could load it up, and put him to bed...go back in after his nap and every single thing is on the floor. So, just him for now.
Re: Am I the only one with nothing in crib?
poor deprived girl!
we have stuff in there that he plays with if he wakes up extra early. it buys us some time! he also has a couple of 'loveys' that he is obsessed with.

We have a few small toys (plush blocks, etc.) and the small beanie baby bunny she sleeps with, but no blankets or pillows.
They keep her occupied in the morning when she first wakes up and mean I get an extra 30 minutes at least to sleep in!

When he's sleeping...it's just DS, fitted sheet and bumper.
When he's in there to play (so I can shower), it's loaded with toys.
