Ideas about rash/color?

My DS is 7 months old and has been pretty healthy other than 1 cold that cleared up quickly and H1N1 that he kicked like a champ.  The last day or two I noticed his cheeks and nose were getting orangy flushed.  His nose was a little stuffy so I figured he was fighting off daddy's cold.  He has had a little dime size dry spot by his elbow for a month or so -just normal dry skin. Now, I was nursing him and saw that he has another super dry spot and a pink-orange coloring/speckling on his forearm & elbow. Ideas?  He hasn't started any new foods.  His CD leaked and he was super wet this morning but it didn't seem to get his sleeve wet.  The rashy coloring wasn't there an hour ago.

    Eczema can flare up like that.  My DD's eczema was pretty bad on her arms and thighs.

    I highly recommend California Baby products.  We use the body wash, shampoo, and Calendula Cream (after baths.)  DD has had little to no problems with her eczema since we switched to CB from Johnson & Johnson.

    Ps-- I buy my California Baby stuff from Target.
