But I just feel like my baby has been "off" for a few days. DH thinks I'm nuts and I'm beginning to wonder if he's right. DH begrudgingly just took him to the pedi per my request to have them examine our child who is showing no real "symptoms" of anything other than the fact that his mother thinks "his voice sounds different." I hate feeling like a loon, but I'm sticking to my (hopefully not insane) guns on this and having him looked at regardless of how dumb it may potentially make me feel. UPDATE! He's got a little bug that's been going around causing gastrointestinal pain (fussy) and hindering breathing. Told to monitor his breathing which we "caught early." Yay! I'm not crazy! Oh and he weighs 27.1 lbs. Moose. No wonder my back hurts while rocking him!
Re: Call it a mothers instinct UPDATED
It wont hurt to have him looked at and it will make you feel a hell of a lot better.
My momma instincts brought us to the allergist a week ago. Turns out she is allergic to milk, eggs, and tree nuts. Three days before her pedi had told me to start her on yogurt if she got diarrhea with her antibiotic. I never did because of mommy instinct.
It's true. It's there. It happens.
I hope her your doctor gives him a clean bill of health or finds something easy to deal with.
You don't want to be that parent where something was wrong and because you ignored it, something bad happened.
I'd rather be seen as a loon!

Go with your gut!
A few weeks ago, I was thinking B was "off" and everyone kinda shrugged it off. She ended up cutting 4 teeth in 3 weeks. (3 of which were in the span of one week)
LMAO @ moose! He is a big boy!!!
I am glad you listened to your gut. Hopefully he gets better soon!
