Rightfully annoyed or just BSC??

I found a really nice looking crib on Craigslist (we want a convertable for Jenna's room b/c we're not quite ready to transition her to a toddler bet yet).  I email asking who the manufacturer is, how old, is it stationary, conversion rails, etc.  The lady responds and says that it's about 6 years old and that she got it from BRU but doesn't know the brand.

I'm thinking "HELLO"???  Can you take 2 seconds to look underneath and check as BRU sells TONS of different brands and I would like to check to make sure there aren't any recall issues (not that anyone would purposely sell something on a recall list, but KWIM??)

Plus, her email response was really short, and well, let's face it, I'm just easy to annoy these days.  I really would like to know the manufacturer but don't feel like I should have to ask AGAIN...

So, am I just hormonal and BSC or is does this lady kind of suck??

    she sucks.  I'd say something like "if you wouldn't mind could you look on the bed itself and find out the brand for me as I'd really appreciate it and it will help me make a decision"

    I'd feel the same as you.  And she never answered you so that's rude to me.

    but I'm just as hormonal these days as you, so it's probably just us - LOL

    She needs a few lessons in how to sell products...or maybe she doesn't want to sell it too bad if she can't be bothered to look under the bed to figure out the brand.  But seriously I know it's been 6 years but do you really forget the brand of crib you purchase?

    Well, glad it's not just me.  In all honesty, I can't remember the brand of the crib we currently have (and it's only 2 years old) even after ALL the research I did on it.  However, if someone asked, I would take the 2 sec to look for it.  Actually, I never would have created a posting without listing it.  But, I'm anal retentive....

    Good grief - I just listed DIAPERS on SwapSpot with more details than she provided!  Totally not just you!

    Yes you are rightfully annoyed and this lady is stupid to not think to look that stuff up.  She is probably a mom so therefore she should know how important all that stuff is. 

    I would also look at a consignment store and see if they have any cribs also. Dh's work is right next to a children's consignment store and I can see if they have any and pricing if you want me to.

    OK - well, she seems ok after all.  I emailed her and she told me that she actually had looked on the bottom of the crib but couldn't find any info.  Said that she'd ask her husband to look in their attic for the manual or other info.  I'm just going to go by tomorrow and take a look at it!
