Are you effing kidding me? I just posted earlier that our raises will not be letting us TTC #2 later this year. There are no $400 bottles of beer in our budget! lol!
By the way, where the EFF did you get a $400 bottle of beer?
Oh yeah, that was me. I was at a tasting one time and this guy pulls out a 10 year old bottle of beer that was brewed as a special batch. Only something like 100 bottles were ever released. He happened to have two bottles of the stuff in his cellar (thanks to being good friends with the brewer) and brought one to the tasting and kept the other in his reserve. Given how few people had ever tasted it, I was completely in awe. When he pulled that bottle out of the cooler you could have heard a pin drop. Every beer geek in the room knew what it was and there was a collective gasp from everyone there. It was heavenly! Tasted like cherries and oak. Wonderful. I'll hush now, my beer geek is showing. LOL!
Oh, also, that was my first beer tasting EVER. So I wasn't even really sure what I was getting. I just knew it was special. Haha! My friend was the one that told me the backstory to the beer after I had tasted it. Made me feel even more special.
Re: 2 beers in and I'm seriously buzzed.
OMG I just choked on said beer.
I will attempt the C&B for you tonight, but I feel like I already fertilized your shiz today.
