Please question what you read from her, this point alone makes me truly believe that she is not right.

Ok, I just read bw's post. So assumming there's some truth to this, that's just fuckedup. What are you doing to your children by having routine hymen checks?!? I remember when she posted this info and it did cause quite the outrage on here. I think I remember her also posting that her mom used to check hers (?) I could have that wrong though. She checks them to make sure nothing happened to the girls. I am not saying if I agree with it or not so bump gods don't ban me!

What I remember is her saying she does a quick check every now and then while already up in the girls business for one reason or other during a diaper change. She said that you can see her older DD's from the surface, but she couldn't see her younger DD's and she was all freaked out. Then her pedi explained to her that they can vary in position and her younger DD just had one that was further back and she calmed down.

Now I don't have a daughter, so I can't verify that you can check it and/or see it on some girls from the surface.

I don't have a girl, so I can't be sure, but I think this thing got blown way out of proportion initially, and is getting even more blown up at the moment.

I think it's too much to put crap like this out there, and then expect people not to talk about it. I get that she thinks that she's protecting her dds, but seriously, it's BSC. If you don't want people to talk about it, don't put it out there. It's called a filter.

I don't think she is abusing her kids - but what the f do I know - but it is an odd thing to A) Do, in the first place and Post on the interwebs.

It boggles my mind the stuff people put on here. I encourage people to continue to do so, it makes the time pass, but I have no idea why they do itl.
