First ultrasound was today

Vet-TechVet-Tech
in TTC after 35
FET was 1/7 so barely 6 weeks. Doctor saw one embryo with the yolk sac. According to the papers they gave me, too early to see much else. I go back Wednesday & hopefully will see the fetal pole. I feel relieved for all of 2 seconds then start to worry about the next ultrasound. Trying to remain positive. Had a beta drawn beforehand & they only call if there's a problem.  No phonecall so I'll take that as a good sign.

    This is something to celebrate!  I'm going in for my first u/s at exactly 6 weeks and I'm also trying not to get my hopes up if we don't see the HB yet.  You're very lucky that they are getting you in for another u/s, as you'll see the HB then!

    Yea! I'm glad things are going so well, I can't wait to hear about your u/s on Wed. Hang in there, the first tri is nerve wracking, take it a day at a time.

     

    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.

    Sounds great so far.  Congratulations! FWIW, my RE doesn't even do the first ultrasound until 7 1/2 weeks to make sure the heart beat can be detected.  You're gonna be great!
