I've been wondering about something lately... Our twin girls are SO much more laid back and easygoing than their singleton older brothers were. They really do just eat and sleep and they rarely cry unless they're hungry (I know, lucky us!!). My husband and I are a little in shock because our boys were pretty robust cryers, more picky, and had more tummy troubles.
Anyone with a mix of boys and girls notice that the girls are more laid back?
Anyone with singletons and twins notice that the twins seem more content?
Or maybe it's just a fluke! Any thoughts?
Re: Girls, twins, or neither?
I was going to ask the same thing - or similar! We had a rough first 2 weeks but now they only fuss if they have a poopy diaper or are hungry. Other than that they are very content - especially when we put them next to each other - they immediately settle if getting agitated.
We have a boy and a girl. Perhaps we just got super lucky!
Evelyn was very fussy the first 2 weeks but has really settled down!
I think it's just luck of the draw. I have one girl that was a very content baby - a great eater and a great sleeper. My other girl had very bad colic, a horrible sleeper, a not good eater (she had reflux so that had something to do with it), and was just very needy for the first year of life. Despite how high-maintenance she was as an infant, she's been a pretty easy toddler. And my easy baby is a little bit of a tougher toddler.
