babies not napping at the same time...

do they ever get to the point where they nap at the same time?  my friend says to just put them both down regardless if one is not sleepy, but then one cries and wakes up the other one.

 DS sleeps for 1 and 1/2-3 hrs depending on the day, and DD only takes 30-45 minute naps...so, i don't get a break.

 any suggestions would be so helpful-thank you!

    We are experiencing this right now too, they used to sleep well and at the same time.  Wonder if it's the age?

    I don't have experience w/ this yet, but I was just talking to a friend w/ 2 DDs that share a room (not twins).  Are you kids napping in the same room?  Do you have a way to leave one in the bedroom and put one in a PNP somewhere?  It seems to be a general consensus I have read that about that age they start distracting each other at nap time even though they can sleep in the same room at bedtime.

    I have this issue too.  I can usually get them to nap together for the first nap but the second, forget it.  I try to let the one cry for a little but not long enough to wake the other.  You can try and put one in a PNP in another room.
