I've mentioned recently that I don't feel connected with DH much lately (the whole husband-as-roommate syndrome a lot of new mamas have, I think).
[I promise I'll connect these two statements in a second]
We don't have a texting plan because we're cheap old fogeys. It costs 10 cents to send, and 10 cents to receive texts. If we text each other, it's 20cents per because we're on the same plan.
ANYWAY.
He just texted me and said "I love you even more than twenty cents worth"
I just thought it was sweet, and it made me tear up. Lame.
Re: Aaand, I'm crying.
TTC #2 since 9/09 --- mild PCOS; Endometriosis
IUI x4 = BFN
IVF = sometime in 2012
I wanted to tell you the other day when you mentioned you were sad about not connecting... that when I stopped pumping and went off that stoopid BCP, that "my feelings" towards DH really changed. I started to feel like I did before we had the baby. I always loved him, but I like, actually wanted to "love" him again, LOL...
So hopefully the same will be true for you as well!
Hey, that would be a bonus! Maybe if I feel like my boobs aren't JUST for Ella, then I'll feel more sexual again anyway
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DON'T HAVE A TEXTING PLAN!
jk.
And, he's sweet!

I know, RIGHT?
But rather than purposely NOT text, we decided to text at will and see what it added up to. Even though we pay per text, we still don't get close to the $10 it would be to add a plan to our account.
When my contract is up in the spring, we'll revisit. We hear Verizon is restructuring/has restructured their plans anyway.
I want a droid!
that is sweet.
btw...we dont have a texting plan either (although I am starting to see it in the future when DH texts like we have one)
sweet! (We don't have texting either!)
Good to know Andrea!! I can't wait to stop pumping and this would be an added bonus!!
OMG get a Droid Eris.
I do love my BBerry, but we got them about two months before the Droids came out. Both my parents got Droid Eris's (they were BOGO!), and I have seeeeerious phone envy. It's basically an iPhone, without having to get AT&T. It's so super awesome.

Not only do we not have texting, we have a pay-as-you-go phone... Emergencies only. We'll never catch up to the times. Poor Paige will still be playing a Nintendo NES when she's a kid.
LMAO!
But do you have a landline, Brenda? We don't. I kinda want one but I'm not sure why. It just seems like an adult thing to have.
We still have a nintendo and about a month ago were unpacking stuff in our new house and found it, we played for several hours (until we switched games and couldnt get the new one to work) Gotta love it though.
We do have a landline, through Comcast. I can't imagine not having a landline!
I rate this post...beyond amazingly excellent!
FYI...it's hard to get reconnected. Micah and I are both different people now becoming parents. Our priorities have changed. I feel this way with Micah and at times we are still not connected the way we used to be.It takes a lot of work.
I just think once the kids are grown up and out of the house, that's when we can get back to really being connected.
