Finally an update on Josie Duggar - LIP *baby ment.*

I was wondering when they were ever going to have another update on her!  She is still very tiny, but is still hanging on!  I know I've seen other posts about the Duggars on here especially after their 19th was born at 25weeks nearly 7 weeks ago.  Here's the link to the article/video:

  • I am curious to see what the special is like on Sunday.  I wonder how open they will be about the NICU, her struggles, etc.

  • I like to tell people that the Duggars have my baby.  (Since I don't have one, and they have nineteen, I think they may be reducing my chances in nature.) :)
  • By Jim Bob saying that they're taking it day by day, I hope they are able to shed some of the more realistic light on the situation they're going through and what a struggle it has to be.  I can't imagine how hard it must be on them, especially with such a brood needing them at home.  Yikes.

They have temporarily relocated the family to the city that the hospital is in so they can all remain close.  I thought that was awesome that they could afford to do that.

I really respect them (even though I don't always agree with their POV on things) as they are raising the family without government assistance.  If they feel they can afford, love, and nurture 19 kids - more power to them.

My thoughts exactly.  I have no issues with them, their children are well-loved and cared-for and they're not on government assistance.  I can't imagine how her body can physically take that toll, but I'm not one to trash them or their faith!

I definitely agree with you.  There would be lots of opportunities for ridicule for this family and the choices that they have made, however, they do seem to love, nurture and teach them very well.  They have the secret, I guess, whatever it may be.

  • I'm so glad for the update, I've been wondering.  Thanks for sharing!
