I was bleeding to death internally and my family was not sure if I would make it, let alone my babies (who were quads at the time). Today marks exactly 1 year since I had surgery to stop a ruptured ovarian ectopic pregnancy from bleeding (while I was 8 weeks pg with my babies!). Seven blood transfusions (over 2 days), 6 paracentisis (over a 2 week period), losing part of my left ovary during the surgery... hard to believe that I survived at all. I would do it all over again to have my beautiful babies! I am so grateful that I was able to maintain my pregnancy through the surgery and that Sam and Lyla were such fighters! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful supportive family, and an awesome dr. who took such good care of me!
