Just diagnosed with GD :(
I didn't even get to do the 3hr test, I was so elevated on my 1hr test (207).
I'm waiting for my hospital to call me back so I can set up a dietary consult and get my monitor. Dr wants to meet me weekly to review my sugar levels.
I'm a little nervous...reading things online is scary! I guess I should start looking into cutting the sugar now, just never been a restricted diet before.
Dr said that my chances of diabetes later in life is high, is that true?
Any other girls with their #'s this high? How manageable is the diet? Is your baby ok?
