Ear Infection Help

Lauren has finally gotten her first ear infection and my sweet girl is miserable. We started her on amoxicillin today and has been taking motrin, but she is still really hurting. Any tips?

    Unfortunately there's not much more you can do. The only thing i can think of is a warm wash cloth held on her ear for the pain...keep on top of the motrin every 4-6 hours (whateer the dosage is)  I can attest that the pain from an ear infection is EXCRUCIATING.  As an adult it's all I can do to keep my composure and not want to cut my own ear off.  I don't know how babies/children deal with it as well as they do.

    Aww, I hope your little girl is feeling better soon! We haven't experienced an ear infection yet, but I'm dreading the day.
