Good News (re: ACC)

I recently posted that we have been going through the possibility that our LO may have agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC). So many of you have been immensely supportive - I was very touched.

I now have good news to share though... we got the results of our fetal MRI yesterday, and our LO's brain is 100% normal! Starting before Christmas, our ultrasound results were ambiguous, hence ultimately leading to the MRI we had last week. The MRI confirmed the CC is fully formed and the ventricles are measuring at a normal size. No abnormalities at all were detected. It feels like a big weight has been lifted from our shoulders.

After going through all the "what-ifs" I will never take the health of this child or any other for granted. You & your children will remain in my thoughts & prayers forever.
