I can't seem to respond to you - it says it can't find you as a user. So here's my answers; feel free to ask me anything - I'm an open book.
CRM and Dr. Campbell are great. I had a great experience but never have been so glad never to see a place again
I
LOVE my OB. Dr. Andrea Flom @ John Haugen & Associates - they have
offices dtn mpl and Edina. She's VERY well respected in the field and
I felt v. comfortable w/ her. She was v. open and said if there were
any complications w/ the babies, she'd send me to a Peri. As it was,
she sends all her twins patients to MN Perinatal Physicians @ Abbott
for their BIG u/s to make sure there aren't any huge red flags.
I ended up on bedrest @ wk 22 w/ early contractions and my dr. was a bit conservative but I was grateful.
Abbott
was great. I spent a lot of time there b/c I had to go to the maternal
assessment center weekly while I was on bedrest to check on the
babies. I have no complaints and am heading back there to deliver my
daughter NEXT WEEK!!! My boys didn't have NICU time but I felt good
knowing that Children's was right there. Also, they have special care
IN the maternity ward - Luke needed some time there for Glucose levels.
Do you like your current OB or are you looking for a new one
anyway? I know that multiples pg automatically 'high risk' but IMO, I
don't think that means you automatically need to search for a Peri. If
you're babies are doing well, an OB should have the skills to take care
of your pg. And @ abbott, you'll have 2 pedis @ your delivery (at
least I did).
Are you in Mpls or the westside? I'm in St.
Paul and am a member of St. Paul Moms of Multiples. I'm not usually
one for "clubs" but I do enjoy meeting w/ these MoMs once a month AND
taking advantage of the bi-annual sales. Let me know if you'd like
info on it - our Spring sale is coming up in March.
I'm happy to answer questions. I know it's really overwhelming.
