I had to share my day with you bumpies. My husband is out of town for work right now and I had both daugthters scheduled for a well visit and shots today.
First of all, I don't go many places with the both of them unless its in the stroller to the park. I do this for many reasons, but mostly because it takes me an hour to prep them and the diaper bag before we are out the door and by the time this happens, it is nap time or feeding time.
So, I got out the door and to the doctors office relatively easily (after two hours of prep). They were both restless and cranky in the office and both got a shot in each leg--ouch!
All-in-all (without going into the dramatic, crying details), the moral of the story is...I SURVIVED.
Re: Just Survived 18 month/5 month WV/Immunizations Solo
Congratulations!
On this same note, I was just glorying the other day in the fact that DS will have just finished his last set of shots until he's ready to go to school right before #2 is born. Didn't plan it that way, but that's so convenient!
