Re: ntr - do you use anti aging face products?

  • I've read that the best thing to use is moisturizer. Lots of it. that all the other stuff is just hype.

However, I used to use Mary Kay & liked it.

  • I have always had "trouble" skin so when I find a product that works I stick with it.  I LOVE Hope in a Jar with SPF.  It's amazing.

  • Just undereye cream.  Lancome R.A.R.E.
  • Fo shizzle!

I like Olay products. ?The regenerist line is really good. ?My BFF is an esthetician and she said that they fared better in clinical tests that the 700 dollar face creams from department stores : )?

I started using them about a year ago, and I can definitely see the difference, my crows feet are hardly visible.?

  • I've always used Oil of Olay's moisturizer.  The pink one.  I just bought a double pack of the yellow one since it has SPF.  I hope it's very similar to the pink one.

I've also read that the Oily of Olay's regenerist series is doing really well in clinical studies.

If I don't use Oil of Olay, my makeup just doesn't go on well.

I have heard this as well about Olay, and I think I will give them a try next time.  I use tons of moisturizer since it is so dry in CO.   I use the bliss youth as we know it line for eye cream and moisturizer and love it, just not the price;)  Also, my spf has hyauloronic acid in it which helps rehydrate, repair and lighten sunspots.  I have noticed a big difference since starting that.  hth!

  • I've been using eye cream since I was about 23 (I'm 30 now).  I've used all sorts, but my faves are Patricia Wexler and the Olay Regenerist (which is what I currently am using).

I also am vigilant about washing my makeup off every night and rinsing with water in the morning (I have dry skin).  I switch cleansers b/c my face gets used to something after a while and it quits working.  I love Kiehl's - and Caroline there is a Kiehl's boutique on Armitage. Their products are fabulous and they'll give you nice sized samples to try out.

  • I use Clarins products which I've found to be the best.  My mom uses them too. She's over 60 and her face looks very good (very few lines).
  • I have used a lot of different kids and I started using Roc a few months ago and it has really improved my skin. I don't know if it's the retinol in it or what, but I noticed a big difference in my skin.

But I am also interested in the Oil of Olay Regenerist line as well. I feel like moisturizers are like shampoos, they stop working after a little while so I have to change it up.

  • I actually just got back from my dermatologist and asked the same thing....Oil of Olay Regenerist got her vote as well.  Off to buy it later today...

  • I use the Regenerist and like it...it's not expensive, but for some reason i go through it about five times as fast as Creme de la Mer, which is a great luxury brand but costs a lot.still, weirdly, it kind of evens out in the end.

Also, I really like the Lancome High Resolution..feels great on my skin adn smells amazing..I started using it over the Olay, just because it lasts longer and doesn't wind up costing more, and the olay doesn't have the same scent...

  • I use Rx Retin-A between cleansing and moisturizing for acne, and have been for years.  Retinols are sold OTC in various creams and serums for wrinkle smoothing.  I would just pick up one of those and try it for a few weeks.  My friend really likes the Neutrogena Healthy Skin cream in a metal tube; they have with and w/o sunscreen.

  • I pph SKII, but don't buy it often, as it's very expensive. But it works... I was first introduced to it when I received a bottle of serum as gratis when I worked at Saks.

Clinique is also great... they test every product on 600 people 12x before it's released. If there is a single reaction, it goes back to the drawing board. But my actual recommendation would depend upon what your skin concern was, as they have several products related to anti-aging.
