newbie... might be pregnant
Hi Im usually over at the knot, but I decided to make some new friends over here too. My name is Desiray and my husband and I have been married for 4 years. We have a 3yr son. We didnt have a ceremony when we got married, so that's what we are planning to do for our 5th year annivarsary. I've been tracking my cycle for the last year and it ALWAYS comes on time, it's never late. Except for this month... I should have gotten it 2 days ago. I know it's too soon to know for sure yet, but I know my body and this isnt normal. I've been trying to get pregnant since Jan 09. I am hoping to get to know some great new people and enjoy fun people to talk to. Thanks for reading.

So when will it be okay for you to test if it's too early now?
Most pregnancy tests are accurate from the day of your missed period. So it's not too early to test...that is, if you really are NEVER late, which is rare on these boards...if not impossible!

What do you mean by "tracking"? Actually charting your BBT. Even if so, it doesn't mean your cycle will be the same every month. If AF truly is late, you would be able to get a +HPT at this point if you truly are pregnant.

By tracking, do you mean charting your temps each day or just counting the days on a calender? If it's the latter, you may have just ovulated later this cycle.

Go take a pregnancy test. If it comes back negative then you may have O'd later this cycle then you have before. Cycles can vary in lenght even for women who normally have regular cycles. Wait for a week and if you still haven't gotten your period test again. If your cycle lasts for more then 60 days with no period or positive pregnancy test go see your doctor.
On a side note: If you have been trying for a year (which you have) and you haven't had a talk with you doctor about the fact that you aren't pregnant yet then you need to.

I ovulated from the 12th -15th this month... Yes I've been keeping a calendar of when I get my period. I don't know what "head desk" means... Im guessing slamming head on desk, sorry if I posted on the wrong board, I wasnt trying to make people upset. Thanks anyway

You only ovulate on one day of your cycle, not 4. If you are using an ovulation calendar, you should know that they are useless. They are based on a 28 day cycle with day 14 ovulation. You may very well be ovulating well outside the time frame they give you. Scroll back to Dani's (I think) response and read the link she gave you - it has a lot of helpful information so you can learn more about your cycle.
I don't either. I see no misery in this post - only suggestions that OP take a test and learn more about how her cycle works. Sounds pretty helpful and positive to me.

She came back, that was the biggest offense. Dani posted a 'nugget' that kind of out of control and at the tail end, CarBuck arrived being her pleasant self. Then she started another thread soon after directed at Mixie. This AE is most likely her as well.
Please...for our sanity...just go test and if it's negative we'll fill you in on some things to keep in mind while trying to get pregnant.
