Bottles... yeah, it may be a dumb question but

DD is almost 9 months old & we have to keep changing bottles! Avent was too fast & not working with her month, Dr Browns are alotta trouble, Vent Aire and Drop Ins can't work b/c we have to warm up her formula(its the liquid) & they leak after we warm them! GRR, i feel like I have a newborn or something asking this question....

what bottles did you end up using? I know shes almost 9 months but I'm about to go buy plain, ol' glass old school bottles!

    i used gerber nuk bottles

    and i dont have a single complaint about them

    Um we used the same bottle brand from day one - dr. b and we usually move up a nipple flow every three-four months.

    We use Playtex DropIns.  If I have to warm a bottle, I just place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes -works like a charm.

    I do have about a million $3 off Nuk bottle coupons. So at least I wouldn't be wasting my money to try! 

    Since the formula has been in the fridge, it takes a wayyyy long time to warm up in warm water Sad

    I have used the same one since the beginning.... Playtex drop-ins.   We have to wram as well...I just use hot water to water the bottle.   No problems with leaking.   We had to change nipple flow ..from slow to med and now to fast.

    BornFree are the best!  Never leak and super easy.  We're using level 2 nipples now.

    Warming Water. 

    i have what is called a HOT SHOT.   Rapid water heater.   Generally about 45 seconds to boiling.   Then dispense to a cup ...drop bottle (playtex dropin) in cup and rotate.   Give about 15 seconds.

     1 minute from start to finish.

    How do these Bornfree bottles work? Like whats so special? I just always wondered... I know they are expensive but if it works!

    I just switched to regular plastic Evenflo bottles. Love them! I used to use Dr. B (too many parts) and Ventaire (leaking issues). So easy to clean and great price.

    We hated the born free bottles. I felt like my DS gulped tons of air.

    DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
    DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

    Evenflo (it has the bend in them like Vent Air but not a drop in) love it!
