Hey all!
I was never asked at the hospital if I wanted to apply for a SS# for baby, and I want to get one now, while it's still on my mind. I just got her birth certificate today.
I read the SS website, and I'm confused about what to bring for identification. I'll be going to the office in West Chester, so if anyone's been there, I suppose your advice will be the most helpful. Besides the form, which I can get online, what else do I need to bring? And do both parents need to go?
TIA!
Re: Baby's SS#? Specifically, ChesCo?
Usually the hosptial has your fill these forms out so its taken care of before you leave. I'd give your hospital a call and see.
