  We are.  We actually turned down a free one that didn't have a bassinet because we want to use the bassinet feature in our room for the first month or so.

  The PNP with the bassinet was the best thing ever when DD was small, and we still use it now without the bassinet when we travel for her to sleep in.

  We are, too.  I registered for the Graco Pack 'n Play in Brunswick that has the newborn napper.  It's not available yet (according to Amazon), it'll be in next month.

  We did this with DS until he was 3 months old and we'll do it again with this baby. Just make sure you get one with a night light on it, it makes late night diaper checks and feedings so much easier.

  We plan on registering for one with a bassinet to keep in our room.  I think it should work well and save some space/money

  We are just getting a pnp. I dont see the point in getting a bassinet when they outgrow it in a few months and you can use a pnp for a year or two.

  We are.  DD started out in the bassinet portion and moved to the bottom when she outgrew it, but she was in that for about 8 months due to circumstances.

  I just had this conversation with my mom last night! I think I've decided that we will have the PnP in our room, instead of a bassinet.
