Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

I am feeling so guilty (PR)

I am having the hardest time remembering to take my PNV.  I don't think I've remembered all week.  When I was pg with Lillian, I was religious about it and freaked the eff out if I forgot to take it one day.  I feel like kid doesn't stand a chance.  LOL  Don't even get me started on how much caffeine I've been drinking.  I'm exhausted and working this pg.  I stayed at home while pg with Lillian until almost 30wks and worked PT.  This poor baby is going to be wired and have sleep issues as well as a vitamin deficiency.  :(

  • Dont feel bad!  I eat blue cheese a few times a week and have deli meat and tuna all the time.

If it makes you feel any better, my ob told me to stop taking my prenatals when I was having bad morning sickness!

  • I am SO glad you posted this. I am not taking care of myself nearly as much as I did the 1st time.

    Off to take my vitamin............

  • Aw, don't feel guilty.  I had a hard time remembering my PNVs with A and she's just fine. Smile  I can't believe you're 16 weeks already.

  • Don't feel bad. Caffeine was the only thing that would get rid of my blinding headaches when I was pregnant with Gwen. She turned out pretty normal lol : )
  • Don't feel bad! I do feel kind of guilty with all the caffeine I'm drinking. I still drank it with A but not nearly as much as I am now. But this pregnancy is a lot different because we have toddlers to chase after! What helps me remember my PNV is keeping them right by my toothbrush and taking them every night after brushing my teeth.
  • I don't think I've even taken 5 this entire pregnancy.  I was religious when pg with C, but not with this one.  I just can't remember to take them.  :(
  • With DD, I drank at least one Chai Latte per day. DD turned out JUST fine!

Can you set your phone so you remember? My phone is ALWAYS next to me. It really helps with allowing me to remember things that I would normally forget.

Oh, I didn't take my PNVs for a few weeks due to a little morning sickness early on too. DD is still fine! ;)

  • Thanks for reminding me to take mine today!

I forgot all the time with DS.  He was lucky if I took it once a week.  Everything will be ok.

  • I had to put the vitamins right next to my toothbrush so I remember.  If I move them, I forget.  I, too, have about one coffee a day, sometimes two.  I love LO#2, but I'm just soooooo tired and preoccupied as opposed to last time when it was just focus on unborn baby.
  • I had to buy one of those old person daily pill contraptions (the ones that say Mon, Tues, etc) because I was forgetting to take it, and then forgetting if I had already taken it or not. LOL

  • I think it's having a toddler and then being preg.  I actually forget I'm preg sometimes until someone asks me about the baby.  I'm doing ok with remembering PNV only because I have to take daily meds and put the PNV in my pill organizer.  Poor second child gets no love lol
