Huggies can kiss my formula feeding a$s

(I apologize if this is old news, scrolled back two pages and don't see it posted.)

Read this article and prepare to be PO'd (specifically paragraph 2).  As I said on my local board, I'll avoid buying Huggies from now on.  I'd like to spare them from having to diaper my artificially fed, infected, allergic, hospital-bound, dumb, rotten teethed, pre-diabetic kid. Give me an effing break.  Stick to advice about leaky diapers, Huggies.

  • After that 2nd paragraph, I had to stop reading.  WTF?

  • weird that it is there at all! it was written for something else it looks like, but still why would they even risk an uproar by putting in such false facts?

Right, it came from 'Pregnancy and Baby'.  But putting it on their site = endorsing it, imo.  How dumb.

  • I'm an artificial feeder too and they can bite me. FF is"associated with a large number of health risks for the baby"  Whatever, huggies. That's a bit extreme. My FF kids have rarely been sick.

    LOL

Pampers hacked the huggies site in a fit of industrial espionage.

    true story.

Aw hell, you guys are confusing me. Now who are you? LOL I will be happy when everyone is unbanned.

  • Eh. If I boycotted every company that I might have a differing opinion from my kids would probably be naked and hungry. Things like that I take with a grain of salt. Is it the most accurate information? No. But Gerber suggests starting babies on juice when they can sit assisted and I don't boycott their products.

  • Well, who knew my FF DS was doomed to a life of total despair?

The author and Huggies can both suck it.

  • Wow, what a bunch of BS.

I understand your point, but does Gerber claim on their website that babies who don't start on juice will be at severe health risk? I don't think so. Huggies statement was just extreme.

Oh, I agree with you, Huggies statement was extreme and I do not agree with it at all, and my kids were all bf'd (supplemented with formula). I just am not one to not buy a product because I disagree with statements that a company makes or endorses, kwim?

ITA I took your post the wrong way.sorry. I'm not giving up my huggies overnights either. They can claim formula is the devil. It will p!ss me off beyond recognition, but I like dry sheets in the crib:)
