how long did you spot after internal exam?

I know that some spotting is totally normal, but it's been 2.5 days and I'm still having off and on light brown spotting... At what point would you start to wonder if it's not from the internal, but maybe something else? When would you call the doctor? thanks

my appointment was at 10:30 and I stoped spotting by that night. I would give the doc a call to be on the safe side

I had one at L&D and didn't have any spotting but my nurse told me it's normal to spot for a few days as long as it's not gushing blood. If you are worried I would call though!

My last spotting episode lasted about 2.5 days. After day 2, I kinda lost count, though - truthfully.

Thanks, I feel a little paranoid even worrying about it, but the reason it all started was that I had some red blood on Monday, went in and had an internal. Everything looked fine, no explanation for blood, etc. Now it's been 2+ days of light spotting so I'm just trying to figure out if it's just from the internal or maybe something else.

I actually just put a call into the doctor just to be safe.
