S/O Grandparent names
I always find it interesting to hear all the different names. What are yours?
My Mom and Stepdad are Nana and Pa
My Dad and Stepmom are Grandpa and Grandma
The IL's are Grandpa and Lola

Mom's side: Grandma (insert city they live in--yes its weird)
So we have a Grandma Bangs and Grandma Brady (no grandpas)
Dad's side: Grandma Sofie (her first name, also no grandpa)
ETA: Okay I didn't read that right...those are MY grandparent's names.
Andrew is calling his grandparents Grandma First Name and Grandpa First names
My mom and her Boyfriend are grandma and grandpa
His dad and stepmom are grandma and grandpa
his mom and stepdad are grandma and grandpa
my deceased stepfather who adopted me is grandpa
my biological dad is grandpa d-bag
The only one trying to change this is DH's stepmom. She wants to be called LaLa or some crap.
My mom: Granny. This started as a joke - I told her I was PG on her 49th birthday, and she jokingly said that she was "way too young and beautiful" to be a grandmother. So we decided to call her Granny to make her feel old
My dad is deceased, but Michael calls my stepdad "Paw Paw". He chose this himself. Michael started saying it this week and it's adorable.
MIL: Mim. Nephew is now 13 and started calling her this, and it stuck.
FIL: Pop Pop
My mom is Aahoo (said Ah-hoo) My oldest nephew came up with it when he was little. She originally wanted to be called Grammy but we all thought Aahoo was much better
ILs are Nana and Poppy
My dad and step mom are grandpa and grandma. I'm hoping K will come up with something cute for them
Maternal grandparents: Yiayia and Papou (Greek)
Paternal grandparents: Grandma and Grandpa
My dad is Gramps. That was his decision 12 years ago when my 1st nephew was born.
DH's parents are Korean, so these are as phonetic as I can get - his mom is Halr-mo-nee (kinda like Harmony, but with an l/r sound) and his dad is Har-ubp-o-gee.
My mother and her fiance are Mana and Papa, names my DD gave her.
My ILs are Grandma and Grandpa.
My parents are Nana and Poppy
DH's dad and stepmom are Grandma and Grandpa
DH's mom and stepdad are Grammy and Grandpa Bob
My Nana and Grandpa (LOL - follow me on that one?) are Gigi and Gramps
My mom and dad - Grammy and grandpa

MIL and MILs boyfriend(been together 10 years) - Nanny and Grampy Chuck
My grandmother (DD great grandmother) - GiGi

my dad is Grampa Phil (but DS thinks it's funny to call him Gramma Phil)
my ILs are Mema and Peapod. SO funny about Peapod, as my FIL is one of the gruffest guys you could meet, but he and DS came up with it and it has stuck.
My Mom and Dad are Babcia and Dziadzia (Polish).
My IL's are Nana and Papa- my nephew called them this, so it stuck.

My mom is Grandma J (even though mom and MILs names start with J, lol!)
MIL is Grandma
Stepmom is Grandma Vette
My dad is Granddad (that's what we all call my grandfather, so...)
FIL is Linus (they've always called DH's grandfather by his first name too)
Ours are pretty simple for a blended family! lol
My parents are Baba and Diddo (Macedonian)
DH's parents and stepparents are Grandmas and Grandpas, but his mom insists on being Grama and that just annoys me and I pronounce it the way it looks when she isn't around.
Mine were always just Grandma and Grandpa. How weird is that lol
And that's what My Mom and IL's are to dd. lol We're so boring.

Great ILS: Bnawnaw. Bpapa...apparently the 1st grandchild couldn't say "great" so they cut it down to "big" which ended up being B..kinda drives me nuts

My Dad and Stepmom are Grandpa and Nana (thier choice)
My Grandma and Grandpa are Grandma Great and Pop (my grandma is a fun lady and wanted to be called Grandma the Great instead of Great Grandma but the first of the great grand kids shortened it to Grandma Great and it stuck)
DH Mom and Dad are Grandma and Papa
DH Grandparents are Gram, Grandma Jo and Pa
My Mom's side: Nana and Papa
His Parent's side: Mimi and Papa J. Note: It took the whole pregnancy and until DD was 15 months old for them to pick the name--- I was so relieved. It was such a "hot topic" for way too long and it was soooo annoying!
