This may not matter to all of you, but I know I'm not quite comfortable NIPing yet, so I thought I'd share for anyone else who isn't quiet there yet. If you happen to be near a lord and taylors, they have amazingly gorgeous bathrooms, with a comfy lounge area that have couches. I've been in 2 in the last month and both were the same. Very comfy for nursing. Anyway, just sharing.
If you're not quite comfortable NIPing, what good spots have you found?
Re: PSA Bfing mammas
While Christmas shopping I thought I was going to need to go back to the car to feed her but by the restrooms they have a room with a locking door and a couple rocking chairs in it. It was great! I only shop at that mall now because I know I can just pop in there if I need to feed her and not have to lug everything back to the car. I could never just sit on a bench somewhere and do it, even all covered up. I just wouldn't be able to relax so this made me very happy.
Sad to say, I don't leave the house much just because of my insecurities of NIP. The one day we were out, I BF twice in the car and my poor DH sat there for 45 minutes just waiting.
I definitely need to get more comfortable if I plan on nursing for the long haul.

I was really nervous about NIPing in public. It's like the first time you wear a swimsuit for the summer. You just need to do it! Usually I nurse in the car but the other day we were at a restaurant with outdoor seating that faced the mall. Everyone coming in and out of the mall could see us. I told my husband I was nervous and he was so sweet and supportive. I wore my hooter hider and it went great. No one said anything. People look at you but they are looking because they can't figure out what you're wearing and then all of a sudden it dawns on them (oh, you're nursing) and they really don't care. Even our waiter was like "yeah my daughter is 3 months old I know how that goes." Also with all the recent hype about breastfeeding being a legal right I felt like I would take both fists to anyone that wanted to say a single word.
