Can I just vent about my job for a second?

I'm a special ed. teacher and for ONCE would love to have a regular ed. teacher that did not feel that my students "aren't their problem" and/or "don't understand it anyway, so why give them an assignment". It's very frustrating!!!

    The "aren't my problem" kind of thinking so beyond me. :(  No wonder the special education teachers in my old district liked me.  If the kids are in my room, then obviously they're "my problem."  I'm sorry you're dealing with teachers like this.  It takes a special person to do what you do.
