Sorry - I know this topic has been beaten to a pulp by now, but it's not on the FAQs and the search feature just never works right for me...

Wondering how many diapers & sizes you all recommend having before the babies arrive?  Same deal w/ wipes?  They're one of the few remaining things I think I still need now that my showers are done, so any advice would be appreciated.

Right now I think I have about:

Qty 200 Newborn, Qty 40 size 1, Qty 36 size 2, and Qty 234 size 1-2 (they're mostly swaddlers w/ some generic mixed in).

    I would buy more newborns... if you figure that my twins were born 5lbs and 6lbs and they wore newborns for the first 2? months (at least)... average about 15 diaper changes a day at the beginning (just an estimate for the 2 of them) that is 1,125 total newborn diapers

    I would buy more NB and tape the receipt to the box so that you can always return/exchange them.

    You've got a good stash so far, but you will definitely need more newborn. I think I had over 300 and just ran out now after 4 weeks. My twins weighed about 6lbs at birth. I could probably use more, but my twins are both 7.5lbs, so we decided to just use size 1s now.

    And get lots of wipes!! You cannot have enough of those, just get unscented to be safe and save your receipts for diapers in case you hate a particular brand.

    I have like 600 newborn diapers (Swaddlers), which is probably too many.  But I have receipts taped to the boxes that we bought in case we need to exchange them for a different size.  I also have around 500 size 1 Swaddlers and then some size 2s as well.  And a TON of wipes. 

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
