I was asked this today. By a woman I work with. Who is a mother of 2.
She said she wouldn't do it if she were me because it's too much work for just the mom and you get zero help.
Then she said, "Don't tell me you're thinking about going with out meds..."
She looked at me crazy for saying yes.
I guess I should have expected it- this is the same one that tells her 12 yr. old daughter to eat more donuts so she (the mom) can stay skinnier than her (the daughter). Yeesh.

Re: "You're not going to breastfeed, are you?!?"
I think I need add to that I don't believe that formula feeders are bad mothers, it was just her delivery. And her. Just her existence irks me, so I think anything that comes out of her mouth is awful.

That makes me sad.
To make it worse she said it to her in front of the whole office here.
I wanted to take the poor girl home with me.

She sounds like a peach.
I learned to just smile and nod at any unsolicted advice my coworkers would give me.
When they asked questions, I would just basically be vague and avoid any details. The office would've have turned upside down if they knew I was going to have a homebirth.

Go, 12 year old child, and eat lots of donuts. You will probably get Diabetes, but I will be skinnier than you and that is all that matters.
I hate people.
